The Avocado Packing Company S.A.C. celebrated World food Safety Day this year with the motto: "Food standards save lives".

Celebrations consisted of distributing different World Food Safety Day flyers to the corporate emails of company staff, and a staff quiz. The quiz involved playing "three in a row", answering questions related to food safety, completing a line of three and winning and playing. As a prize for the correct answers, staff were given various prizes. The questions were prepared according to the safety training that was held within the company this year.

Training was also provided to staff and three employees awarded a prize for their performance in the evaluation at the end of the training.

The areas of the company that were part of the celebration are: Quality Assurance, Production, Raw Material Reception, Cold and Dispatch, General Warehouse, Sanitation and General Services, Engineering and Maintenance, Human Talent Management and Safety, Occupational Health and Environment. The Avocado Packing Company is part of the Mission Produce Peru group. It is an agro-industrial company that packs fresh fruits such as: avocado, mango and blueberry and is located in Chao - La Libertad – Peru.
