The Global Forest Watch (GFW) Summit

The biennial Global Forest Watch (GFW) Summit is a two-day event bringing together

leading innovators and practitioners in forest monitoring. The goal of the Summit is to strengthen

a community of practice dedicated to applying cutting-edge monitoring approaches in forest

conservation, restoration and management. Summit participants will network, showcase their

knowledge and experience, receive training in the latest forest monitoring tools and contribute to

the future of the Global Forest Watch partnership.

The Summit is open to GFW partner organizations and other individuals interested in the

development or application of forest monitoring data and tools. Past events have welcomed

public and private sector participants with diverse expertise from around the world.
