Sustainable soil use

Event aims at promoting the importance of soil and its sustainable use, as well as gathering of all those who study, manage and use soil resources in the Republic of Serbia joined by the representatives of international organizations. The participants will adopt the Declaration on soil which is the contribution of the Republic of Serbia to the international initiative of the United Nations to proclaim 2015 as the international year of soils. Another aim of the event will be to send the joint message that institutional, scientific and economic sectors work together on preserving the soil in the Republic of Serbia. The event is organized by the Institute of Field and Vegetable Crops and Serbian Soil Society, in partnership with United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP), with the support from the economy.
