The Programme's activities have been oriented based on the Logical Framework of the Partnership Programme 2003–2005, which was approved by the Consultative Group in the Montpellier meeting of September 2003 and therefore became the official IPTRID work plan guide. Thus, with the year 2005 this initiative comes to closure. As explained earlier in this report, IPTRID's governance body has directed, in its meeting of September 2005, the Secretariat to establish a new Programme implementation strategy, in collaboration with our partners for 2006 and beyond. This activity is underway at the time this report goes to press and it is still in its early stages to have merited inclusion in this Report.
With respect to the Programme Partnership (PP), as reported for the early years 2003 and 2004, the required and expected contributions -in both financial and human resources terms-for its full implementation fell short.
In Table 3 the original logical framework of the PP is presented while Table 4 shows the activities and the outcome of the 2005 period. More in-depth information on the deliveries is found throughout the different sections of this report.
