SUPPLY OF PINUS CARIBAEA VAR. HONDURENSIS SEED
The Department of Forestry, Queensland, Australia

In October 1971 107.8 kgs. were collected from the Byfield plantations outside Rockhampton; very little of this seed is now available. The cost of the seed is 66 Australian Dollars per kilogramme.

The 1972 collection is expected to be only a limited one due to poor flowering but a good collection is expected for 1973 as seed should be available not only from a larger acreage of plantations but in limited amounts also from the seed orchard at Kennedy.
