60. Following the discussion held earlier on the conversion of the standard and its application (see paras. 4-8) the Committee agreed to propose to the Commission the development of a general standard applicable to bottled/packaged waters other than natural mineral waters, in view of the importance of these products in international trade, and to ask its advice on how to proceed in this area.
