The survey started in Pointe Noire on 14 September. The shelf was covered northwards in the same pattern as during the previous surveys. The Gaboneese and zaireen scientists were disembarked in Owendo on 25 September, where after the vessel steamed to Pointe Noire to disembark crew and remaining scientist and for layup.
The cruise track with trawl and hydrographical stations are shown in Figure 1.
There were carried out 42 and 16 hauls with the bottom and pelagic trawl respectively.
