The survey started in Pointe Noire on 7 December. The shelf was covered northwards in the same pattern as during the previous surveys. The Gaboneese and zaireen scientists were disembarked in Owendo on 16 December, whereafter the vessel steamed to Pointe Noire to disembark crew and remaining scientist and for layup.
The cruise track with trawl and hydrographical stations are shown in Figure 1.
There were carried out 31 and 7 hauls with the bottom and pelagic trawl respectively. Total distance surveyed was 2150nm.
