96. The scope of the Symposium - effects of environmental modifications in freshwater fisheries - had been defined by the eleventh session of EIFAC. Dr John S. Alabaster kindly agreed to act as Convenor of the Symposium. He will propose a precise title and prepare a prospectus to be distributed in due time within EIFAC Member States and other interested countries. He will be assisted in his preparatory task by a small steering group.
