During its 51st Plenary Session, CFS adopted an ambitious strategic Multi-Year Programme of Work (MYPoW) for the period 2024–2027. The MYPoW 2024-2027 was revised during CFS 53 through its regular mid-term review.

The Committee on World Food Security aims at eliminating hunger and malnutrition through improved policy convergence at global level, which leads to strengthened actions at national and regional levels.
