Dear All, This is Kashfia Ahmed from Bangladesh and we (Win Incorporate) are working for content development for telecenters like GP CIC, Alokito Gram and GHAT. It is indeed an excellent initiative to discuss the PPP model in e-agriculture to share and learn more to make various initiatives more effective. In our activities of content development and to serve the broad rural communities, particularly for farmers, we found the role of PPP is the only solution. If you see the process for content development, you will require govt., academician, private sector and civil society for sourcing of content, validation, digitization and finally dissemination. In fact, in most of the cases in agriculture, government is the main source of information. But most of these information are not available to the farmers due to the lack of "efficient' information delivery system with limited field staffs. We, at Win, have seen the scopes and potential of ICT to disseminate these information and can be further strengthen through building broader and effective partnership with different stakeholders. Appreciate, if anyone can share their experience on content development process and role of PPP. Regards, Kashfia Ahmed, Ph D CEO Win Incorporate Bangladesh
