Researcher

I'm a researcher in soil science, remote sensing and geographical information systems (GIS) in the Department of Soil Science and Plant Nutrition.; My research is in the area of pedometrics—a subdiscipline of soil science that integrates soil science, GIS, remote sensing, spatial statistics, and machine-learning to better understand that spatial patterns of soil. I have been developing digital soil maps for presicion applications in agriculture systems and I'm also interest in understanding how predictive digital soil models may be used to address climate change, environment and food security issues.
