Born in Kenya and living in Zimbabwe (on permanent residence status) since December, 1985, I hold a BSC Honours degree in Sociology and Gender Development and a Masters in Philosophy degree (Phil) in Women and Gender Studies from the University of the Western Cape in South Africa. I am currently admitted at the University of Pretoria (South Africa) where I am serving my doctoral preparatory year in a DPhil that looks at Families in Transition: An assessment of the impact of the Zimbabwean Political & Socio-economic crisis on Gender relations with specific reference to Gender Based Violence.
