Vincent Glaesener is the newly appointed "Local Development Expert" and former "Operations Manager" of Lux-Development, the Luxembourg Development Cooperation Agency. He is an agricultural engineer (CUL, Belgium) and economist (MSc, Wye College, UK). He holds a 19 year’s operational experience in relation to the formulation, implementation and monitoring of multisector development interventions and strategies. He has been working for and in collaboration with various bilateral and international development institutions – the EC, the FAO (Investment Centre), IFAD, the World Bank, the AfDB and bilateral development agencies, with a particular focus on the Africa region.
