Paul is the founder and Executive Director of Rwanda Telecentre Network. He is considered as pioneer of telecentre movement in Rwanda and in Africa. Paul has been involved in ICT4D activities and specifically in Telecentre project since 2004 when he established Nyamata Telecentre. Since then he is an active advocate of ICT4D in Africa especially in regards to providing access the rural and disadvantaged communities to ICTs. He has been taking the lead in establishing regional ICT4 network such as Knowledge Network for African Community Telecentres (KNACT) an initiative led by United Nation Economic Commission for Africa (UNECA) as well as NetAfrica, a Panafrican Network of Telecentres. Paul is also Board Member of Telecentre.orf foundation. He received numerous recognition and Award from the government of Rwanda in relation to providing access to ICT to rural people as well as job creation through decent work. Paul’s area of expertise includes SME development and ICT for development. In his free time Paul like reading and gardening.
