She is an assistant professor at the Faculty of Nutrition at the Federal University of Goiás (UFG). She is currently completing her doctoral studies in Social Sciences in Development, Agriculture, and Society (CPDA) at the Federal Rural University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRRJ) with doctoral internship at Centre for Sustainable Food System at University of British Columbia, Vancouver-Canada. Ms. Prado was the management coordinator at the Collaborating Centre for School Food and Nutrition at UFG between 2008 and 2014, and is currently a member of the Health Promotion and Sustainable Development working group at ABRASCO, a Brazilian association that deals with public health.
