Hello from Ecuador!! It is great to meet new people from around the world that is interested in ICT4D, especially mobile telephony. Ecuador is one of the countries where the use of mobile phones is much disseminated. Statics say that 7 of 10 Ecuadorians use cell phones while only 2 or 3 Ecuadorians of 10 have access to the internet. For Infodesarrollo, which is the network I am working in, it is very important to know about the uses of mobile phones for development and how we can use them to foster universal access to ICTs and development.
