The webinar will be delivered in English.
- Presenter: Mr. Samuel Varas, Director of the Information Technology Division at FAO,
- Moderator: Ms. Meng Zeng, Information Technology Officer at FAO.
Mr. Varas will provide an introduction to the role that digitalization can play in making agriculture more productive and sustainable. He will then present the ideas behind the International Digital Council and the multi-stakeholder process leading to its implementation. The webinar will complement the ongoing online discussion Towards an International Digital Council for Food and Agriculture, which is currently taking place on the FSN Forum.
