Global Call for Agrifood system Innovations and Stories of capacity development for innovation

The Tropical Agriculture Platform (TAP) is pleased to share an exciting opportunity for innovation stories in agricultural innovation. Global Call for Agrifood system Innovations and Stories of capacity development for innovation aims to foster agricultural innovation by gathering and disseminating inspiring narratives of innovations (technological, organizational/institutional, social, and policy) from various individuals and organizations working to address global challenges in agrifood systems.

Individuals and organizations are invited to share their practices that used to address challenges in the agriculture sector, such as improving yields, reducing the use of harmful chemicals, increasing resilience to climate change, and more.

These stories should analyse success factors, capacities needed for innovation to add value in the community or technical domain, and demonstrate how innovative practices benefit farmers, communities, and the environment. 

These stories will not only serve as a source of inspiration and information, but also contribute to the expansion of knowledge about innovation in agriculture.
