Area of Expertise
My expertise lies at the intersection of psychology, finance, and international development, applied through a strong UN system lens. I hold doctorates in Business Administration and Psychology, and serve as Adjunct Professor in both fields. Professionally, I am a Chartered Psychologist (British Psychological Society), a Fellow Accountant, and a Chartered Financial Analyst. This unique combination allows me to bridge human-centred approaches to technology adoption with the economic and governance frameworks needed for scalable, inclusive digital transformation.

I am also a UN/CEFACT Expert and have represented Canada as a Delegate to the UN High-Level Political Forum (HLPF 2025) and the Second World Summit for Social Development (WSSD2). My practical experience includes leading UNGP for SDGs, where I have developed and implemented multi-stakeholder partnerships across Africa, the Middle East, Asia-Pacific, and North America—directly relevant to the digital and agrifood systems challenges that e-agriculture seeks to address.

Professor Tak On CHAN (Kelvin), JP, is the Director-General of UNGP for SDGs. He holds doctorates in Business Administration and Psychology and serves as Adjunct Professor in both fields.
