Giovanna has a Political Science background with specific reference to International Policies and History. She matured experience in communication and interpersonal skills in the sector of ICT, Grid and cloud computing and research infrastructures. Since 2005,  she dealt primarily with developing communication platforms to supporting collaborations between Europeans and developing countries, especially India, Latin America and Sub-Saharan Africa working in the ICT sector. She has been heavily involved in many international events organisation. Within EUSEA2006 project, she was, jointly with the project Manager, in charge of the organisation of Euro-Southeast Asia conference and EC ICT Pavillion at CommunicAsia in Singapore June 2006, she was responsible of presenting EU funding projects opportunities, within the MONSOON project, in  a series of 4 workshops in India in 2009 in New Delhi and Mumbai. She coordinated the organisation of a series international conferences within the BELIEF project phase I and II in Rio de Janeiro Brazil, New Delhi -India and Johannesburg, South Africa. In the CAPSELLA project www.capsella.eu she will be mainly involved in the organisation and delivery of the workshops and overall support the organisation of all the networking events throughout the project lifespan.
