I am a trained animal scientist but focused my postgraduate and doctoral studies on the perception and discounting of risk in agricultural decision making. Currently heading the Rural Enterprise Advancement Agency at the University with the focus to expand the activities of the School of Agriculture and Agribusiness into the development of economically viable and environmentally sustainable agricultural production models for small scale farmers in the Region. As Director my focus is on building an academic environment conducive for enhanced teaching and training of agricultural practitioners for serving the agricultural industry of the Region.
