GENERAL INFORMATION The 16th Session of the FAO/WHO Coordinating Committee for North America and the South West Pacific is scheduled to take place in Nadi, Fiji from 30 January to 3 February 2023. Remote participation (via zoom) will also be possible for listening and verbal interventions. The Session will start on Monday 30 January at 09:00 FJT (UTC +12). Discussion sessions will take place on Monday 30 January, Tuesday 31 January and Wednesday 1 February 2023. The adoption of the report will take place on Friday 3 February 2023 starting at 09:00 FJT (UTC +12). Please see the provisional timetable here. CCNASWP16 is being conducted in English only. INFORMATION FOR DELEGATES Practical information for delegates planning to attend CCNASWP16 in Nadi, Fiji is available here. Please refer to the Sheraton Fiji Golf & Beach Resort website for online booking with the CCNASWP16 special rate which is available until 13th January 2023. After this date, the venue hotel may not be able to guarantee availability at the CCNASWP16 special rate. ONLINE PRE-REGISTRATION All participants should provide their information (names and addresses) through the Codex Online Registration system by accessing the link below, latest by 30 December 2022. Login and password for the online registration have been provided to all Codex Contact Points and Contact Points of Observer Organizations. If the login and password have not been received, please contact [email protected]. SIDE EVENTS On Wednesday 1 February 2023 there will be a side event on “Codex@60 - towards a more robust food control system at the regional level”. On Thursday 2 February 2023, from 09:00-12:30 FJT, there will be two side events; one FAO/WHO side event and one Codex Trust Fund side event.
