Japan Food Safety Management Association (JFSM) held a World Food Safety Day 2026 event on 5 June 2026. This was the fifth consecutive year that JFSM organized a World Food Safety Day event in Japan, attracting 373 participants both in person and online.

World Food Safety Day / Morocco strengthens the fight against antimicrobial resistance in livestock farming
To celebrate World Food Safety Day, the Morocco’s National Office for Food Safety (ONSSA) issued an article about the country’s progress in containing foodborne antimicrobial resistance (AMR).

WHO and FAO strengthen regional collaboration on food safety competencies across the Eastern Mediterranean, Near East and Africa
