On 5 June 2026, the Grenada Bureau of Standards hosted a training session for members of the National Codex Committee and the GDBS team, facilitated by Giuseppe Di Chiera of the Codex Secretariat.

International experts discuss food additive risk assessment ahead of the 102nd JECFA meeting
On 8 June 2026, a Workshop on Food Additive Risk Assessment was held in Nanjing, China. The event was jointly organized by the China National Center for Food Safety Risk Assessment (CFSA) and Nanjing Medical University, with support from the Shanghai Junshi Institute of Life Sciences.

World Food Safety Day / Viva fair brings food safety and sustainability to the community in Lisbon
On 7 June 2026, the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of the University of Lisbon hosted the “Viva Fair”, bringing together academia, the food sector and the community to celebrate food safety, sustainable nutrition, science and tradition.
