FAO has pledged US$100 000 to help the Organization of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation develop and strengthen agrifood trade in the Black Sea region.

18 January 2018, Addis Ababa – The Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations and the Africa Union Commission have signed an agreement to launch sustainable school food and nutrition programmes in Ethiopia, Kenya, Rwanda and Uganda.

Improved nutrition, reductions in rural poverty, sustainable management of Kyrgyzstan’s natural resources, and adapting to climate change are central themes in a new cooperation agreement with the UN Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO).

Against a backdrop of intense human suffering, the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) and the World Food Programme (WFP) are joining forces to mitigate some of the effects of conflict in Greater Kasai. The two United Nations agencies will be using US$10 million in Belgian government funding to improve access to food for more than 100,000 people.
