16. 1 Indicate if, by the end of the reporting period, any national system or mechanism to monitor and safeguard genetic diversity and minimize genetic erosion existed. Optionally, indicate the system/mechamism reference, year of publication, the number of contributing stakeholder and remedial actions undertaken.
16. 2 (Discontinued) Indicate any action undertaken during the reporting period to correct or improve genetic diversity and minimize genetic erosion which has taken advantage of and/or relied on data/analysis from the existing national systems to monitor and safeguard genetic diversity and minimize genetic erosion.
