Cognizance 2016 Pulse Pledge

The academic fraternity of the Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee will take up a Pulse Pledge and will be trying to make a Limca Book of Records for the maximum number of persons taking up the Pulse Pledge at the same time.

This event takes place as part of the part of COGNIZANCE (The Annual Technical Festival of Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee)--the second largest technical festival of Asia. Cognizance 2016 has a multitude of more than 200 events like professional workshops, exhibitions, international conferences, online events and large-scale technical, management and policy-making events with global participation from more than 1500 Technical & Management institutes reaching more than 200,000 students,  professors & executives and is slated to be held from 1st April-3rd April, 2016. Cognizance 2015 has been associated with the International Year of Light and Light based Technologies and UNESCO during its 2015 edition. Taking the association further, Cognizance 2016 will be taking up several campaigns and events to observe the International Year of Pulses 2016.
