One Country One Priority Product (OCOP) is a FAO's flagship initiative designed to transform agrifood systems by supporting countries in promoting their special agricultural products which are unique products with distinct characteristics linked to their geography and culture.
The initiative aims to unleash the untapped potential of these special products, facilitating entry into new markets globally and regionally. OCOP supports countries in enhancing food production efficiency, reducing environmental and social impacts, maximizing benefits for farmers and food value chain actors, and promoting diversified food habits for improved food security and nutrition.
