  GUINEA-BISSAU

Aggregate cereal output in 2003 was estimated by a CILSS Crop Assessment Mission in October at some 162 000 tonnes which is 7 percent higher than the about average crop harvested last year. Cereal import requirements for 2003/04 (November/October) is forecast at some 67 000 tonnes, of which about 59 000 tonnes are anticipated to be imported commercially.
