Rome - By this open call, we are inviting Indigenous organizations, UN Agencies, philanthropists, academia, governments, and other relevant actors to apply for side-event spaces that will be held at the Nomad Indigenous FoodlLab (a Saami nomadic tent) during the week of the 2024 World Food Forum (WFF). In June 2024, a large group of Mashco Piro Indigenous People was spotted on a riverbank in the southern Peruvian Amazon. It was a rare sight, since the Mashco Piro live in voluntary isolation in the lush forests that cover the region.
