· In order to make up for lost time in this matter, it would be necessary to put in place, in French Polynesia, a national action plan concerned with:

promotion of interdisciplinarity and creation of an R G F laboratory.
Reallocation of the afforestation tax to the development and conservation of these resources (in particular for the constitution of specific land reserves).
Thanks to a current policy, favorable for planning, management (PGA are in preparation) and with a greater autonomy, the time seems favorable for development of projects of long duration for conservation and development of the natural forest estate.
