Desert Locust campaign evaluations
Multilateral, independent evaluations are regularly conducted to review the response by FAO to locust emergencies. The purpose of the evaluation is to identify what went well, what went wrong, and what gaps should be addressed in order to improve the response by FAO, partners, and affected countries to future locust emergencies.

Evaluations of the last two Desert Locust upsurges, 2003-2005 and 2020-2021, have been conducted.
