This factsheet gives an overview of the economic viability and potential of agroecology – highlighting how diverse agroecological farming systems together with advances of organic farming practices can lead to an overall higher productivity compared to monocultures or cash-crop systems. 

Relying on various exemplary studies conducted between 2014 and 2023 within the framework of ProSoil, it further demonstrates that implementing agroecological practices can lead to economic benefits.
