The Sixth Session of the Central Asian and Caucasus Regional Fisheries and Aquaculture Commission (CACFish) was held in Izmir, Turkey, from 15 to 18 October 2018. The meeting was attended by five CACFish Member states (Armenia, Azerbaijan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Turkey), ten Observer countries (Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, China, Kazakhstan, Republic of Moldova, Mongolia, Serbia, the FYR of Macedonia, Ukraine and Uzbekistan) and two Observer organizations (EUROFISH International Organization and Organization of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation). The Session discussed 1) main decisions and recommendations of relevant FAO Conferences and Committees; 2) decisions and recommendations of the Fifth Session of CACFish; 3) Commission’s activities implemented in the intersessional period 2016-2017. The Session also reviewed and approved the recommendations of the Fourth Meeting of TAC (28-30 November 2017, Tbilisi, Georgia), namely on the Commission’s annual budget for 2018 and 2019 (USD 180 000) and priority activities to be funded by the CACFish Trust Fund during the intersessional period 2018-2019. During the Session, both Member and Observer countries presented their country-level activities and issues in the field of fisheries and aquaculture. The hosts for the Fifth TAC Meeting (November 2019) and the Seventh CACFish Session (October 2020) were proposed, to be followed up by the Secretariat and respective Governments. -

No results found.The Central Asian and Caucasus Regional Fisheries and Aquaculture Commission (CACFish) held its seventh session physically in Istanbul, Turkey from 11 to 13 October 2021. Four Member States attended the CACFish session: Azerbaijan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, and Turkey. Seven invited States were present, namely: Georgia, Kazakhstan, the Republic of Moldova, Mongolia, the Russian Federation, Ukraine, and Uzbekistan. The EUROFISH International Organization and the Commission on the Protection of the Black Sea Against Pollution participated in the Session as intergovernmental organizations with observer status. The Commission was briefed on the main decisions and recommendations arising from the latest sessions of the FAO Governing Bodies, namely the Regional Conference for Europe and the Committee on Fisheries (COFI) as well as CACFish. Discussions took place about strategic approaches to increase the number of CACFish Members and further strengthen cooperation with non-CACFish Member States. The Commission decided to abolish the Five-year Regional Work Programme as suggested by the Technical Advisory Committee (TAC). The Commission reviewed the key outcomes and main recommendations of the Fifth Meeting of TAC. Региональная комиссия по рыбному хозяйству и аквакультуре в Центральной Азии и на Кавказе (CACFish) провела свое седьмое заседание в очном формате в Стамбуле, Турция, с 11 по 13 октября 2021. В сессии приняли участие четыре страны-члена CACFish: Азербайджан, Кыргызстан, Таджикистан и Турция. Присутствовали также представители из семи приглашённых стран: Грузии, Казахстана, Республики Молдовы, Монголии, Российской Федерации, Украины и Узбекистана. В качестве межправительственных организаций со статусом наблюдателя в сессии приняли участие Международная организация ЕВРОФИШ (EUROFISH) и Комиссия по защите Черного моря от загрязнения. Комиссия была проинформирована об основных решениях и рекомендациях последних сессий руководящих органов ФАО, а именно Региональной конференции для Европы и Комитета по рыбному хозяйству (КРХ), а также CACFish. Состоялись обсуждения стратегических подходов к увеличению числа членов CACFish и дальнейшему укреплению сотрудничества со странами, не входящими в CACFish. Комиссия решила отменить Пятилетнюю региональную рабочую программу, как это было предложено Техническим консультативным комитетом (ТКК). Комиссия рассмотрела ключевые результаты и основные рекомендации пятого совещания ТКК. -

No results found.Третье совещание Технического консультативного комитета (ТКК) Региональной комиссии по рыбному хозяйству и аквакультуре в Центральной Азии и на Кавказе (CACFish) состоялось в Бишкеке (Кыргызская Республика) с 16 по 18 февраля 2015 года. В работе приняли участие пять стран-членов: Азербайджан, Армения, Кыргызстан, Таджикистан и Турция. На совещании также присутствовали страны, не являющиеся членами CACFish, а именно: Грузия, Казахстан и Узбекистан. Комитет обсудил и разработал научные рекомендаци и на рассмотрение Комиссии, а именно: (i) Мониторинг, контроль и наблюдение (МКН) в рыбном хозяйстве, (ii) управление рыбьими инкубаторами во внутренних водах, (iii) Добровольные руководящие принципы обеспечения устойчивого маломасштабного рыболовства в контексте продовольственной безопасности и искоренения бедности. ТКК проанализировал прогресс, достигнутый в выполнении 5-летней рабочей программы (2011- 2015 гг.) Комитет одобрил подготовленную Секретариатом вторую 5-летнюю рабочую программу (20 16-2020 гг.) с некоторыми изменениями. ТКК также одобрил свою программу работы на межсессионный период 2015-2017 годов. The Third Meeting of the Technical Advisory Committee (TAC) of the Central Asian and Caucasus Regional Fisheries and Aquaculture Commission (CACFish) was organized in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan, from 16 to 18 February 2015. The meeting was attended by five Member States: Azerbaijan, Armenia, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Turkey. Also attending were the following non-CACFish Member States: Georgia, Kazakhstan, and Uzbekistan. The TAC discussed and generated scientific recommendations on the following issue s for consideration by CACFish: (i) fisheries monitoring, control and surveillance (MCS); (ii) inland fish hatchery management; and (iii) Voluntary Guidelines for Securing Sustainable Small- Scale Fisheries in the Context of Food Security and Poverty Eradication. The TAC revised the progress with the five-year Work Programme of CACFish (2011–2015). The TAC approved with some modifications the second-term five-year Work Programme (2016–2020) prepared by the CACFish Secretariat. The TAC further ad opted its programme of work for the intersessional period 2015–2017.
