Ezinne is a researcher in agroecology and food security. Prior to her research role, she works as an Agricultural Research and Extension Officer, Federal Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, Abuja, Nigeria. 

Ezinne obtained a Master of Science in Environmental Management from Coventry University, a Bachelor of Agriculture in Agricultural Extension from the Federal University of Technology, Nigeria. The subject of her master's thesis is Agricultural Development Development Projects in Nigeria, the Challenges and Way Forward. Ezinne has been involved in several rural development projects funded by the government of Nigeria.
