Gonzalo Aramayo Careaga has developed his professional career working in local and multinational companies in the area of strategic planning, product and services development, sales & marketing, knowledge management, e-governance, and Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) for Development. 

Extensive national/international experience with increasing managerial responsibilities in Latin America and Africa. Experience in providing policy analysis and advisory services, hands-on experience in design, managing, and evaluating knowledge management systems/programmes. Major responsibilities have included; the implementation of different projects of telecommunications; the development of business plans, marketing strategies, national and regional ICT4D/KM strategies.  He has developed consultancy activities in the areas of; telecommunications, marketing, e-marketing, knowledge management, e-governance, and (ICT4D) for international organizations such as: ALADI, World Bank, DGF, IICD, GBF, and UNDP.
