Muralikrishna Iyyanki, as PhD from Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore, is former Dr Raja Ramanna DRDO Distinguished Fellow, Ministry of Defense, Govt of India and National Coordinator for Geospatial Public Health, which is National Networking Government of India Project. He was former Professor and Director of Research and Development at JNTU Hyderabad. He was also a faculty member at Ocean Engineering Centre IIT Madras and Scientist at National Remote Sensing Centre , ISRO. Govt of India. He was a Guest Scientist at German Space Research Institute (DLR) and GKSS Research Centre, Germany and Chiba University, Chiba, Japan. Currently he is Mentoring Independent Indian students’ projects on Rural empowerment /Smart village movement, executed jointly with Centre for Growth Markets, UC Berkeley, USA. He has guided 44 people for Ph D in Faculties related to Geospatial Technology, Information and Communication Technologies, and Business Management. He has published 62 papers in peer reviewed journals, and about 80 papers in national and international conferences. He has authored two books on Climate change and Weather Modification Technologies and Environmental management- Climate Change and contributed three chapters in the publications from University of Dundee and ISPRS Commission on Data Base management. He has authored Chapters on Machine learning and Deep learning tools for Population Health data analytics. He has delivered several invited talks and online webinars on Open Innovation, Design thinking, Emotional intelligence, New Education Policy, Economic value addition to UN 17 SDGs, Lean Project Management, Advances in Remote sensing and Geospatial Data Analytics, Environmental Geospatial Models, Geospatial Artificial Intelligence, Health Analytics etc
