Prudence Y. Lugendo is an experienced Agricultural Economist specialized rural economy and agricultural policy. He is a graduate from Sokoine University of Agriculture (SUA). He has experience of about 7 years in rural economy and agricultural policies. He has worked with Economic and Social Research Foundation (ESRF) and Regional Strategic Analysis and Knowledge Support System (ReSAKSS) as researcher and policy analyst respectively. He has experience in Strategic policy analysis; Monitoring and evaluation; project management and coordination; policy advocacy and knowledge management. He has experience in data capturing through survey (designing survey tools like structured questionnaire, unstructured questionnaire, focus group discussion guideline and key informant interview); he has experience in conducting both qualitative and quantitative surveys. He has also experience in working with statistical packages like SPSS, STATA, Microsoft Excel and MATLAB for data analysis and management. Prudence Lugendo has been involved in various policy analysis works, capacity building activities to central government and local government staffs; knowledge management activities and coordination activities in Tanzania. Recent he has been involved in developing M&E strategy for Agriculture Sector Development Programme phase two (ASDP II) and evaluation of ASDP I projects.
