FAO Science and Innovation Forum 2025: Save the Date

The World Food Forum (WFF) flagship event returns from 10–17 October 2025 at the headquarters of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) in Rome and online.
This year's WFF marks FAO’s 80th anniversary, bringing together young changemakers, leaders, and experts in a global week-long gathering where the future of agrifood systems takes shape.
As part of this flagship event, the Science and Innovation Forum (SIF2025) will take place on 13–17 October, spotlighting how science, technology, and innovation can accelerate the digital transformation of agrifood systems.
Organized by FAO, the Forum will feature startup pitches, dynamic exchanges, interactive discussions, and forward-looking collaborations, offering diverse voices and fresh ideas on the role of digital solutions in shaping more resilient, inclusive, and sustainable food systems.
As FAO Chief Scientist ad interim Beth Crawford put it, “Hand in Hand, we can grow #BetterFoods and co-create a #BetterFuture.”This year’s edition focuses on the transformative potential of digital agriculture and policy-tech linkages to support FAO’s “Four Betters” vision: Better Production, Better Nutrition, a Better Environment, and a Better Life.
