When I conducted my research in October last year, India had a draft of the UAV regulations (http://dgca.nic.in/misc/draft%20circular/AT_Circular%20-%20Civil_UAS(Draft%20April%202016).pdf). Unfortunately, I am not aware of the latest status - but this webpage might help you further: https://www.droneregulations.info/India/IN.html#country-search It is a very good overview of all UAV regulations and provides additional links.
