I am experienced food security and livelihood specialist with 5years of continuous experience working in NGOs, private and public institutions combined in development programs, in which I occupied field, managerial and leadership positions in international humanitarian relief and development organizations (I/NGOs) as a food security and livelihood officer at Food for the Hungry (Association) Rwanda. since Aug 2017, I worked as Chief Business Development Officer/CBDO at MuGolds International Ltd for three years and served as agriculture and economic strengthening intern at Rwanda Agriculture Board/RAB, I have attended cultural driven community transformation, sustainable and resilient livelihood development studies in Japan in 2016. I’m skilled in community development programs/CDPs and projects implementation, sustainable food security and resilient livelihood development for poor and vulnerable families, monitoring and evaluation, budget management and staff development. I’m a smart business development professional with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Agricultural Economics and Agribusiness from University of Rwanda, and certified in project management by acornerstone onDemand Foundation initiative, with two valid Rwandan driving permits/licenses/categories (Category A,B) and certified in sustainable food security and livelihood assessment and theory of change (S/FSLA) by USA/FH phoenix, with particular skills in pro-poor agricultural projects’ implementation, economic strengthening and access to finance through savings’ groups/VSL, cooperatives and value chain development as well as child focused transformation projects/CFCT-Models implementation. I have had many opportunities and challenges that have shaped the what, why and how I do things. I enjoy pulling together the right people to find solutions and optimize workflows.
