I have been actively involved with FAO, GFAR  , Govt of India and other State Govts,  IFAD, Rome, for the last 18 years, the Common Fund for Commodities (CFC) Amsterdam, ICRISAT, Hyderabad, etc., the focus being on low cost low risk Agroecology of the resource poor producer communities, thus ensurring access to own requirements of nutritious food for their long term sustainability/ livelihood improvement.  My entrepreneurial/ industrial experience since 1965 and expertise has been the driving force behind the advocacy for a rural producer org/ company (PC), set up and staffed with professionals but owned by the producers, to take over all risks/  responsibilities, other than on farm activities. Manage and provide required services, create required infrastructure, build human and institutional capacity, etc., thus enabling producers to feed themselves (over 50% of the population) and the country’s growing population with low cost nutritious food.
