Mr Kouami Ayaovi Olévié Agbenyo is a Computer science Engineer, capitalizing over 25 years of professional experiences in the public, private, international organizations and civil society sectors. Mr. Kouami was an United Nations Volunteer (UNV), ICT specialist from 2002 to 2004 for the Least Developed Countries Initiative (LDCI). Founding member of the first Linux Users Group (LUG) in Togo in 2002. He was the first Secretary General of this group. Nominated as the National Expert of the World Summit Award (WSA) in 2003, the WSA periodically organizes the competition for the best electronic and mobile contents in the world. Mr. Kouami, is also the President and Founder of one of the very first organizations of civil society specialized in ICT in Togo : the ICT for Development Institute (INTIC4DEV). It is a non-profit association under Republic of Togo law. The purpose of this association is to work as a public benefit organization for better integration of Togo and the Third World countries in the dynamics of the information society.
As a representative of INTIC4DEV since december 2012, M. KOUAMI Olévié became a member of the NPOC (Non-Profit Operational concerns Constituency) and NCUC (Non Commercial Users Constituency) of the NCSG (Non Commercial Stakeholder Group) of the GNSO (Generic Names Supporting Organizations) of ICANN (Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers). He is a member of the Executive Committee of NPOC since year, inside ICANN ecosystem.
Finally, Mr. Kouami Olévié is a member of the Organizing Committee and panelist of the IGF in Togo. He is actually a co-promoter of the Dialogue on Internet Governance and ICT in Togo under construction. His current ambition is to help for the establishment of an ICT observatory in Togo and for the use of Africa be whole.
