My name is Rejaul Karim. I'm a Masters in Management. I joined the Agriculture and Rural Development Division of the SAARC Secretariat on 2 April 2013. Before that I have worked about 10 years for the Government of Bangladesh in various capacities including Finance, Civil Administration, field and central management and Micro Credit Management with the world famous organization Grameen Bank of Bangladesh.

Throughout my career, I worked for the pro-poor development, Rural employment, recruitment regulation practice, capacity development of rural stakeholders as well as the government officials, credit disbursement, monitoring and debt management. In my present position I work with the Government agencies of the region as well as the sectoral development partners like FAO, IFAD, IRRI, CIRDAP, ASEAN, IFPRI, WFP and so on to coordinate, monitor regional cooperation, arrange meetings, prepare report and follow up the implementation procedure as well as development regional projects for the organization.
