Mr. Waiswa Musa, a native of Uganda joined African Forum for Agricultural Advisory Services (AFAAS) in March 2015 as the Internal Auditor. He is a Certified Public Accountant registered with the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Uganda (ICPAU), and also a member of the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA). He holds a Bachelor of Management Science with a bias in Accounting, from Kyambogo University and is currently pursuing (online) a Master’s in Business Administration with a bias in International Business and Finance from Amity University, Uttar Pradesh India.

Prior to this he worked as an Internal Auditor with the Inter-Religious Council of Uganda and Advance Uganda Micro –finance Ltd as an Internal Auditor. He spent his early post qualification years working with the Seventh-day Adventist church for over 5years starting as a School Bursar and later Accountant.

He therefore brings to AFAAS experience in setting up Internal Audit systems for NGOs and especially donor funded sub granting NGOs, and strengthening the stewardship function of Management and Board by improving Corporate Governance, Risk management and internal control processes and procedures. He has keen interest in supporting systems that help farmers have quick acess to information on Technology, markets, productivity, and networking.
