The national Codex programme
National Codex consultative mechanism
Myanmar has become a member of Codex Alimentarius in 1997, but the national level operation was not well-functional because of the lack of national Codex structure through Codex Contact Point (CCP) in the country. In June 2019, CCP has been newly appointed and Myanmar Codex Committee is established. Myanmar is building up the national Codex Structure to vitalize the governmental and stakeholders’ actions to create effective functioning for people in Myanmar
