CODEX COMMITTEE ON METHODS OF ANALYSIS AND SAMPLING

The 42nd session of the Codex Committee on Methods of Analysis and Sampling is scheduled for 13 - 16 June 2023 in Budapest, Hungary, with report adoption on 20 June 2023 (virtual).
The physical working group on endorsement of methods of analysis will take place in Budapest, Hungary on 12 June 2023.

The plenary session is broadcasted in English, French and Spanish.

PHYSICAL WORKING GROUP ON ENDORSEMENT
Delegations should review the Information Document: Guidance on Process for Submission, Consideration and Endorsement of Methods (INF_CCMAS_END:Related-Information-Documents-CCMAS).

Given the tight time frames delegations are encouraged to review the Agenda Items and be prepared to offer alternative suggestions if the methods or typing are not appropriate.

In an effort to assist in the PWG, the Chair and Secretariat are preparing a summary document, which attempts to supply some background information, context and considerations for the methods in CX/MAS 41/21/2 and 41/21/3. This summary document will be made available as soon as possible.

The physical working group along with the plenary session are broadcast in listening mode in English, French and Spanish.
