Fish and wood to smoke the fish are precious resources to the fishermen communities in Elmina, Ghana. In Ghana, a reforestation project run by FAO's Sustainable Fisheries Livelihood Programme helps women develop a reliable source of firewood for smoking fish, by managing their own woodlots. It saves money and the forests, too.
