Objectives: To develop pilot sites to produce and market diverse and safe and nutritious agricultural commodities; based on the multisectoral approach to establish eight Nutrition Smart Villages (one in each of the nearby villages of BIRTAN Head Quarter and seven Regional Offices) for primarily addressing the underlying causes of malnutrition which is linked with nutrition-sensitive agriculture approach.
